Graduation Night is an
annual event organised for all our graduating students to celebrate their completion
of their schooling at Anglo-ChineseSchool (Barker Road). It is a time when the graduating class comes
together as a cohort to celebrate life and the blessings that they have enjoyed
at ACS(Barker Road) over the past 4-5
years.
Collection
of 2009 GCE O-Level Certificates & School Graduating Certificates
(SGC)
The 2009 GCE O-Level certificates and the School
Graduation Certificate (SGC) are ready
for
collection from 15 March 2010. Students can collect their certificates
from the General Office. Collection
time is between 8:00am and 4:00pm daily,
excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. If you are
sending a proxy to collect on your behalf, kindly complete the attached
form and for your proxy to bring the Authorisation letter (with proof of
identification) when collecting the Certificates on your behalf.
This year, we are giving all students (Sec 1 - 4) google accounts. Students will be able to communicate and collaborate with teachers with their accounts. Students will also be given a Personal Site to set their goals, share their experiences in ACS and keep an online portfolio.

ACS (Barker Road) is looking for parents and students who have a passion for digital photography and who would like to volunteer as photographers for school events, trips and others. If you are good with a camera and would like to share your work with us, please contact us. Repository of ACS (Barker Road) photographs We believe that many among you may have taken photographs of our students in action, be it in their CCAs or on special occasions, through the years. We are in the process of archiving all these photographs so that they can be used in our publicity materials. If you would like the school to have a copy of these photographs (from 2005 -2009), please burn them onto a CD, label it with the name of the CCA/event, year taken and name of photographer (with contact number, if possible) and leave it with our front counter staff in the General Office, attention to Mr Steve Chan.
Together, I am sure that we will be able to create wonderful memories of ACS (Barker Road) which we can keep forever, for the Best Is Yet to Be.
