Information on nTRIX School Admin System

Dear Parents/Guardians:

ACS(BR) is pleased to inform you of the launch of our new nTRIX School Admin System for 2009.    

The main aim of the system is to

• efficiently manage data pertaining to Results, Attendance, Late coming and Discipline of students in the school transparently

• show Enrichment & Remedial schedules

• enable stronger communication and information sharing between school, students and parents

• empower parents to pre-empt and correct problems of their sons before further escalation with easy access to data

Parents benefit in the following ways:

• Parents are able to access the portal to view information (remedial/enrichment schedules, results, discipline/merits and attendance) pertaining to their sons online, anytime (even if you are overseas).

• The school is able to systematically send mass notification emails to parents on announcements, latest news & events etc. 
• Parents can participate in surveys or have access to e-forms. 
• Parents can update personal records online (without coming down personally to the school).

The system is available as a standard package of $12/student/yr (as charged by the vendor).

The cost will be included in the miscellaneous fees.

We would like to take this opportunity to highlight some frequently-asked-questions to all parents so that they might be able to better understand the system and its functions.

1. I am receiving emails/messages on matters that are not relevant to my child or his level. 

We will constantly remind our teachers to be more specific when sending out these messages so that there will be less ambiguity. 

2. What should I do when I forget my password?

Please contact the system administrator for a password reset.  

3. Why am I unable to login to the system even though my child has no problems?

OR

Why didn’t the school send the user ID and password to my account?

The default login IDs and passwords for parents and child are shown below:

Parents

Login ID: NRIC No

Password (if you are 1^st time user): NRIC No

Eg:

Login ID: S6123456X

Password: S6123456X

Students

Login ID: NRIC No

Password (if you are 1^st time user): Birth date (DDMMYYYY)

Eg:

Login ID: S9223456X

Password: 01021992 

4. What should I do if my particulars (such as HP No and email address) in nTrix are wrong?

All details of parents’ and students’ information data were downloaded from the MOE database.  Whenever you need to amend your particulars, feel free to login to the system to change them.
